Now in its second year at the Institute of English Studies, the Modernist Magazines Research Seminar aims to create a forum for discussion between postgraduate and early career researchers in the field of modernist studies. That said, everyone is welcome to attend.
Meeting at Senate House, most seminar sessions will be led by a guest speaker specialist to the field and focus on a selected publication or theme. We will cover a diverse range of modernist movements and publications, reading canonical and forgotten writers in the original material historical context(s) of publication.
